He has experience of developing International School Links with Vietnam and UK on behalf of The British Council. Paul has also provided support for families internationally as a speaker for the South African based ‘It Takes a Village’ conference. Paul is a member of Plymouth Marjon University’s Professional Advisory Group and has taught on the Special Educational Needs and Disability Studies degree course. He has become renowned for his work in supporting individuals and families to navigate the difficult transition into adulthood, particularly for those with special educational needs. He has been a speaker at the National Association of Colleges conference, The National Children’s Bureau conference, and the World Education Summit. Paul was a speaker and delivered a workshop at the Global Education Systems & Solutions Conference in 2022. He is also appearing as a panellist on GESS Talks ‘Safeguarding in Schools’ Webinar in 2023. Paul wrote his first Special Educational Needs resource book in 2021 for international publishers, Routledge. He has designed and developed training packages for SEND International, Team-Teach, parent groups, and professionals in education, health, and social services, including Local Education Authorities. Paul has been featured in numerous publications, including the National Association for Special Educational Needs (NASEN) and The Guardian newspaper. Overall, Pauls aim is to make a positive difference in schools particularly for children with SEMH, SEND and those who have suffered Trauma.

Claire’s journey began working in the aviation industry for an International Airline then, as a singing teacher for a music charity, where she recognized the power of music as a tool for empowerment and self-expression. She witnessed first-hand how it could transform the lives of young people, particularly those with Special Needs. Motivated by teaching young people in Primary and Special Schools in the UK, Claire then worked tirelessly with young individuals on the verge of exclusion for a prominent Manchester-based charity. Her compassionate and empathetic approach helped these young minds overcome barriers and find their path to success.

Claire’s commitment to uplifting young people extended beyond her professional endeavours. She showcased her passion and talents as a performer in an ABBA tribute band, using her musical abilities to raise funds for a Primary school music project she managed in the North West of England. Her efforts not only supported the project but also provided countless young individuals with access to the transformative power of music. Currently, Claire serves as the International Manager for SEND International (part of SEND Recruitment), where she plays a pivotal role in recruiting specialist staff for UK and International schools. Her extensive experience and deep understanding of the unique needs of individuals with Special Needs enable her to connect the right professionals with the right schools, ensuring the best possible support for these young minds.

Claire is also a Specialist SEND Trainer and goes above and beyond to share her knowledge and expertise. She delivers training programs both internationally and, in the UK, equipping educators and professionals with the necessary tools to create inclusive and supportive environments for young people with Special Needs. Claire’s dedication to empowering others through education is unwavering. Furthermore, as a mother of two teenage boys, Claire understands the challenges faced not only by young people but also by their parents in the 21st century. This personal experience provides her with an invaluable backdrop and deep empathy, further fuelling her passion for supporting young individuals and their families. Claire’s unwavering dedication, extensive experience, and empathetic nature make her a truly exceptional advocate for young people with Special Needs. Through her work, she strives to create a world where all young individuals can thrive, regardless of their unique challenges.
